Public Area flooring Systems for metros

Best flooring options for durability and economy in public places like metro:
1. Magnisium Oxychloride flooring - A very hard, pdurable and non porus flooring. 25mm thick and laid in bigger size panels. Easy cleanable and trafficable. Comes in colour topping to choice.

2. LSD treated flooring - Lithium silicate based densified flooring system. 50mm thick steel trowelled concrete finish treated with LSD. Hardens and densifies the normal floor making it shine and heavy trafficable.

3. White cement based terrazzo tile system, factory cured and polished. 25mm thick treated with sodium silicate based hardener and densifier. Can be customised in sizes and colours.

4. Resin based reconstituted stone system - 15mm to 20mm thick slabs comes in various colours and sizes. Shiny and provides a very neat installstion.

5. Granite flooring - Normally done in metros. Min 25mm thick needed for public area.

6. Mandana stone flooring - 25mm thick but in natural reddish stone colour only. Hard anf non porus, gives a shiney surface.

7. Cast insitu Laser screed system. Cement flooring system 100mm thick, no need for screeding as this will do both jobs of base screed and hardened flooring. Fastest and accurately levelled. Floor shines with use.

Architects have many choices but they are not specifying the above as copy paste of old metro BOQs is happenning.

I have used all of the flooring types in my various projects including metros.
